Understanding your inner life.
Creating room for change.

Understanding what’s
beneath the surface.
I am a psychotherapist whose work is informed by psychoanalytic thinking. Together, we pay attention to your emotional life, the relationships that have shaped you, and patterns that may unfold outside your awareness.
There is room for uncertainty, contradiction, and feelings that are difficult to put into words. We approach these with curiosity and consider how they connect with your life today.
The therapeutic relationship is part of this work. What happens in therapy sessions offers another way to understand how you experience closeness, trust, conflict, and being understood.
A conversation
with room to explore.
You can bring what has been on your mind: something that happened during the week, a relationship, a memory, or a feeling that is hard to name. We can follow what emerges and consider how it connects with the concerns that brought you to therapy.
More room
to choose.
As familiar patterns become clearer, we can consider the choices available to you. Our conversations may explore how you express your needs, respond to conflict, make decisions, or relate to difficult feelings.
For example, if you often withdraw when you feel hurt, we can explore what that response means to you and what it might be like to express your feelings more directly. Understanding and change can develop together through the work.
